Yes
Yes, and they've added a covered patio area as well.
We do have gift cards, I'm sure some arrangement can be made to get them to you, just give us a call!
Not inviting. Food came out quick because they wanted us out quick
Food was good and fresh with friendly service
This place used to be amazing, until recently. My coworker and I would eat here often bc it's around the corner from work and the food was great. With in the last month it's been horrible. Almost everytime we order it's wrong, burnt, it not cooked. I think they got a new cook. The guy who runs the register is either nice as can he or very rude. If you asked me today if I would recommend this place I'd tell you no
Excellant food. Well cooked, good portions, priced right. Can be difficult to obtain seating at lunch on a Saturday. Eat your meal and come back later for a shake. Easy to walk to from area parking. Make an effort to visit this place.
Had lunch their. It was busy and lively. Great food, very good prices, and great service.
Hamburgers made with fresh meat from just meats in Chillicothe. You can really taste the difference. It really tastes like beef unlike Mc Donalds. People are friendly and have good service. Breakfast served all day as well as serving your cheeseburger for for breakfast in my case. Thank you for HomeTown service and quality ❤️.
Great American old fashioned diner experience. Greasy spoon meets family dining. Open for breakfast and lunch has killer burgers.
The food is always great, and the staff is wonderful.
The best staff, and breakfast. This staff went out of their way, just like they do Everytime to ensure excellent customer service. They cut my children's pancakes into Minney Mouse and Micky, and that was just the beginning. My daughter launched a cup of water, and while I was trying to clean it up the staff insisted I let them. We love this place!
Delicous food and great staff. This building is neat and has a pretty fascinating history to boot. Check it out! The double cheesburger is great!
Found this restaurant from Google maps while traveling through Chillicothe. This place has the nostalgic feel of yesteryear, and the flavors I haven't been able to find in ages! Had the double cheeseburger basket, and with one bite I felt like a kid again. Kicking myself that I didn't order a shake, but there will be a next time! Place was packed so service was a little slow, but it was understandable and DEFINITELY worth the wait.
We sat at the counter and waited a very long time to be acknowledged, despite staff being literally a foot in front of us. The food was worth the frustrating start though. We had the double cheeseburger basket, fries, chocolate shake and blueberry pie. (No calorie counting that day!)The burgers stole the show. They are NOT frozen patties. The prices are very cheap which is another great bonus. There is outside seating as well. The only thing keeping us from giving this five stars, was it appeared the owner was the only staff that liked people that day. 🙄🤔
I ALWAYS enjoy eating at Carls Diner. Good service, great food, affordable and clean.TRY IT,YOU'LL LOVE IT TOO!
Very popular place. Fast service, friendly staff, and HUGE, delicious pancakes!
Super great local meats diner. Must visit if you are in town. Great food, service, history, and very clean.... everything is great
Small town Dinner with great cheese burgers, with onions, relish, and just the right amount of grease. CHILI is great and you can't go wrong with the daily specials! Step back in time and enjoy a Burger before they started being mass produced!
It's a diner so it's already small and we had to eat outside in the heat. The food is good and it's a local business so it was worth it.
Been years since I've been there. Was excellent! Friendly staff.
The food is of great quality. Portions are satisfying, and prices are affordable. Thursday's are homemade beef or chicken noodles. You will love this experience!
Would not recommend. Food was bad, service was ok.
Great breakfast. Quick service
Food good as always order was right and always enough to fill you up
It was lunch the restaurant busy and we sat outdoors because it was all that was available. It took quite sometime to get waited on. The manager came out and asked if we had let someone know we were there. The man sitting at the next table who is a regular said why is it the customer's job to do the employee's work? Good question. The restrooms needed supplies. The inside was being kept up with. The food was ok.
Went for lunch with the family. We had the fresh chips, and fried mac & cheese for a starter; both were good. The kids got a hot dog meal and the cheeseburger meal both with fries and a chocolate shake; they enjoy both meals and really enjoy the shared milkshake. My wife got the cheeseburger basket and I got the double cheeseburger basket both fully dressed mine with pepper jack cheese. My wife and I agreed that burgers were very good. There were a more than ample amount of crinkle cut fries. The burgers themselves will bring us back.
Eh, not bad
This was my first time here. Food was good. Place was busy the whole time so people enjoy the old feeling of the diner. Waitress we had could have had a little more enthusiasm for her job. No emotion in her actions. But I would for sure go back.
Drive thru was fast,employees friendly
Found this place when searching restaurants in the area, and decided to stop by for lunch on the way through town. Cozy little dinner that was definitely worth the stop. Sliders were great, and the staff was very friendly. I wish I'd be going through more often.
Service was slow and some were even served before us even though they ordered after us. Eggs are pretty easy and fast to cook so not sure about the problem. People next to us ordered burgers after us yet someone they were served ten minutes faster? Waiting 25 minutes after ordering breakfast. Food was good but they may need a new system or cook in kitchen. Disappointed.
Standard old fashioned grill. Tasted like things like french fries and onion rings came out of a freezer, so not worth it for us. They were very busy when we went-- service was friendly but slow. Or staff member warned us about the delay.
Carl's Diner is a small (vintage looking)diner in Second Street in Chillicothe, OH. Although it has limited seating, the wait (if any)is well worth it! You will not find better quality or flavor at any other local diner, than you will find here ! The Pork Tenderloin sandwich is "to die for!". Any of the items I have ever had, on the menu, were delightful! Trust me, I am a very picky eater! When I say it's good, it's GOOD!🤗
Delicious dinner with great prices and a friendly staff.
Was a great value for the quality of food. Wait staff seemed a bit preoccupied but still received fast service. The portions were ample. The coffee seemed to be a bit old and oily. Overall I will return to hopefully get at least the same service but hope for a bit better.
Great food and fast service!
Carl's is a favorite amongst the locals. The atmosphere is always friendly. Prices on food and beverages are reasonable. Lunch time is a madhouse so parking is pretty limited. You may have to walk half a block for food but it's worth it for sure!
It has been a great experience every time I've gone and that has been for quite some time now. The slider burgers are great and definitely the star of the lunch menu. You can customize them and they're always fresh and quick to get out. Onion rings are nice and crispy and the chili cheese fries are great. Breakfast menu is lowkey but quite delicious too. If you don't get up in time to eat it sometimes there are specials where they serve it all day.
My pancake was perfect. Cooked the way my mom used to. Service was great.
Great food and service. They are hand made burgers and the onion rings were really good. True diner atmosphere.
Quaint. Food was good for simple food. Staff was friendly, price was fair. If I lived in the area 8 would eat there often
Great little place to bring friends.. cheaper food and higher quality with a old diner experience that makes it worth going to over and over again
Ordered the daily special (soup and grilled cheese). The soup option I chose was chili and I ordered the grilled cheese on rye bread. The chili came out first, then the grilled cheese about 5 minutes later.. and the grilled cheese was cold! Like it'd been cooked then set aside and forgotten about. Had two slices of cheese on it and the cheese and bread were getting cold. Luckily, I had the warm chili to somewhat balance it out. I was on my lunch break and didn't really have time to make an issue of it by requesting another.. and it appeared that there was only one waitress working the floor and the place was fairly busy at the time.
Traveling for work and wanted to eat somewhere local. 50s diner feel, great food and excellent service.
This is a cozy old style diner with awesome breakfast food. I ate so much I didnt eat the rest of the day! The coffee was good and I lived the pancakes. if you're in the area, I definitely recommend. if I'm back in town I may try Carl's for lunch. the lunch menu looked good too.
For the great hometown dining experience.Place is always busy and bustling with a great vibe.Food is great and good portions
I got the 2 burger and fries basket, but I substituted fries for onion rings. I have to say I've never had burgers like these. Two small bugers, but the patties were thin and irregular shape, puts in mind of the Steak and Shake burgers. But these burgers tasted soooo much better than S&S. I told my brother who had been to Carl's before, and had taken me there today, that I'd rather go to Carl's than to Texas Roadhouse, which we had last night. I will definitely be back, even though I leave in Logan County, I visit my brother about every other month or so. But I WILL be back. The parking could use some help though, we had to drive around it a couple times, but it was worth it!
The food here was amazing. And oh my goodness. Get their sausage gravy and biscuits. You will not be disappointed. Our waitress was amazing with the regulars but just ok for us. She was not mean but not good either. Let's face it though, we went there to try the food and it was great. And hey. They won the best of the best breakfast award. It's good. Very good.
Great food. Good service.
This is a great hamburger place in Chillicothe. My father who is 88 now, ate here in the 1940s and1950s. I just ate here with him and he was so glad to be back in his restaurant from his youth. Great Shakes burgers and fries. Thank you Chillicothe for keeping this restaurant going.
Great food & service. The perch, slider cheeseburgers & french fries are the best around. I'm going to try other items on the menu & daily menu specials.
